Our Interpretations Film Contest Entry

Well it took 2 months, but we finally finished our 2minute, 48 second film which we hastily titled “Friday Night.” Although for the most part, we weren’t able to achieve all we wanted from the original script, I think that we did a solid job for our first attempt given that we had pretty much no resources aside from Johnseth’s camera.

After watching it, you’d probably wonder we undertook this story or this tone – it’s not really like anything I or anyone involved in it would normally make. Well there are four lines of dialogue that we were mandated to use, verbatim, in the order presented. That effed up or shiz real quick.

The first thing that came to our head was drugs. So we ran with it. Johnseth was initially gonna be heavily involved but he had shiznitch come up.
