The Meizu M6 miniplayer from China is by far the best PMP I’ve bought. I’ve previously owned both generations of the iPod nano, three different shuffles, and a Sansa e26, but this one blows the others outta the water like Bryant’s mom doing a cannon ball. It plays video, music, shows album art and photos, has FM tuner, FM recorder and Voice Recorder, comes with its own protective plastic coverings already installed, and @ $99 for 4gb (1,000 songs), is conservatively priced. I got a coupla episodes of the Simpsons and Chappelle’s show on there, and both look pretty good at 20Frames per Second. The Sound quality rocks (better than the shuffle and Sansa IMO and comparable to the nanos – if not better), and the display is even better. The screen is incredibly bright, awesomely clear, and fantabulously colorful. You can put your own wallpapers and customize the player pretty much anyway you want. You can change the fonts, the menus, the colors, the whole shebangabang.

The Bad:

It’s a little hard to get used to the touch pad and buttons at first. Also, some people might be put off that it’s a drag and dropstorage type of device. If you want to edit a song title or artist, etc., all you have to do is go into the browser window, right click the song file, and change it via the “properties(then advanced)” menu. You can also use Windows Media Player 9-10 or Napster lite if you want, but drag and drop is much easier.  Also, unlike the iPod, if you select a song while listening to the same song, it’ll start over.  That kinda bothers me.

I rate this player ‘S’ for Sexy.

Here’s a comparison pic of the Meizu with a PSP, a Creative Zen Vision, and some sorta Sony Walkman Phone.

Here’s a picture of the two colors together.

Edit, also as mentioned by some dude, its called the miniplayer, not the minione.  The minione is a PMP/iPhone lookalike (well they changed the design recently to appease people who called it a knock-off).
